Biography
Agatha Gómez Casiano was born in San Juan Puerto Rico, as the first daughter in her family. She had a close bond with her family, especially during her early years, as she took on a nurturing role until she was nine years old when her brother was born. As the eldest daughter, Agatha’s responsibilities increased, particularly when her brother was diagnosed with autism—a condition that was not widely understood.
Music and drama became her outlet and refuge. She started exploring these interests early on as her big secret.
Her first experience with her secret dream was “apple farm “ -( summer camp ) in New York , as her early 10 years old, as her therapy and process. Despite being the daughter of a prominent producer, Agatha chose not to pursue a path set by others. Instead, she began working on herself and her talents, quietly nurturing her passion for music and the arts.
At 19, she moved to Boston to study law, but soon realized her true passion lay in singing, composing, and performing. This realization led her to embrace various artistic endeavors, including acting roles in projects such as "Orange is the New Black," "Show Me a Hero," and campaigns like the CLARO campaign.
Her talent caught the attention of Max Allende from a famous latino group Aventura, who offered her opportunities to collaborate on tracks in English, which opened doors for her in the music industry.
Gustavo Laureano, Cuco Peña (puertorrican singer and produccer respectably) such as Chimbala, one of the biggest Urbano star in Dominican Republic , believe in her and her talent. As she continued building her career step-by-step in the music business, she did not abandon her acting career taking course and clases at Michael Howard Studios, and Lee Strasberg Studios, New York.
Just as she began making strides in her career, Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico - her homeland- followed by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these challenges, Agatha persisted, launching several successful music tracks that garnered almost 3 million listens in the past four years.
Agatha’s determination didn’t stop with music. She continued her education, pursuing her degree in the arts from -Suffolk Law School, combining her love for both the legal field and the arts.
Her hard work and dedication across multiple disciplines have allowed her to grow into a remarkable composer, singer, and actress, being invited as a guest to different red carpets such as: "Premios ICONO" in Colombia 2021, "Billboard Latin Awards" 2023 , "Latin Grammy Awards" in Sevilla 2024, "Monitor Latino Awards" Hard Rock Hotel - Fort Lauderdale 2022.
Among many music Festivals such as Barranquillas 2021, Guaya Guaya- Orlando 2022, Milano Latin Festival Italy 2024, Es Jardi Festival Mallorca Spain 2024.
Without separating from her passion -acting- as the pandemic was ending, she participated in the latin american's cinema, having roles in: "Los Leones" (2020) , "El Brujo" (2023) and other campaigns in Dominican Republic.
Every step she takes, Agatha’s talent and resilience push her closer to reaching her dreams and achieving stardom.
